Grandmas House

In Aug 04 we started out trip to canada. since we are cheep we stopped at grandmas house for lodging and food. The camera was brand new so I had to try a few shots

a few ants were fighting on the sidewalk. taken with the stock lense on the digital rebel. not really a macro lense so I was proud of the results.

My first digital camera that I can control the depth of field. I my camera is now capable of taking better pictures than I can find, so its nice to know i'm the limiting factor and not the technology.

just a random shot out the kitchen window. the screen looked pretty dark. When I zoomed in on the image I found that the screen did indeed turn out and the ornament in the middle of the window could be seen. this was taken a few feet back and before it was cropped had the whole window.
